Smart move to hold the card till now , if it wasn’t this, it would have been something else , Trumps predictable in needing his visual win . This tax is a battle for another day .
What a sweet guy.
Some day there will be a reckoning. Those who enabled Trump will be held accountable for their actions. When that happens I will be sure to send Lutnick a bottle of maple syrup to his prison cell as a gesture of my appreciation.
I hope this was a chess move by Carney to make MAGA feel good with ‘win’. Otherwise I really don’t like internal tax policy being so directly influenced by international bullies.
This tax would have cost companies like Google approximately 150 Mill USD a year.
This nothing to them.
And yet, they do not want to pay. There is something more than just numbers here.
