      I love how the sentiment of this being posted and reposted everywhere is that this is bad when it’s the answer to so many of our fucking problems. Billionaires shouldn’t exist.

      I wanted to fully support Mamdani when he said that. Trump acts like he owns America and I hate that he thinks like that. I hate that all billionaires think like this.

      What’s worse is when the conservative working class thinks the same way but targets immigrants instead. They believe these billionaires are here to save them and not the obvious, which is robbing them in the present and of their future wealth. The reason why most people are poor isn’t because of immigrants. Follow the money trail and it becomes very obvious where the money is going.

      Or maybe decrease the likelihood by adding a few additional tax brackets at higher levels for higher incomes and decreasing tax loopholes.

      There is a point where more money is just a way to keep score and not in any meaningful way necessary.

      Why should people like Jeff Bezos have so much money that they can afford to buy an entire city for 1 day, closing it off to everyone else for his own huge, expensive wedding with super yachts?

      There are 756 billionaires in America. Millions of Americans are homeless and begging in the streets. millions more are barely scraping by above the poverty line and can’t even afford to cover a $1000 emergency.

      In what world is such a reality fair?.

      Make it make sense.

      Here is a hidden secret, billionaires only have power if we let them. We could impose a progressive tax anytime a billionaire wants to spend. If they want a plumber, charge them 5x. Same with gardeners etc. Make their money worth less.
