      Watching the establishment circle wagons around Cuomo *really* solidified for me that they will do anything to win, but nothing to change our material conditions.

      We should rightfully hate republicans, but I truly don’t think we hate establishment Democrats as hard as we should.

      I have hopes of a viable Socialist Party some day. But alas, not in my lifetime. The income inequality has to burst eventually — people can only take so much of stealing from the poor to give to the rich. However, I predict it’s going to get ugly. The dream of the minority mega-wealthy class controlling the rest of us is a strong one and they are well-armed in one way or another.

      One of the glaring issues with the media today is anyone progressive has to be FUCKING SAINTLY or they will be DOA whereas a Republican can have a a history of cheating/abuse and that’s just glazed over like it’s no big deal. I have no doubt there’s countless hours being spent looking into Mamdani’s past to look for something….anything media can latch on to and if they can’t well…..just make shit up.

      It’s a mayoral race in one city and the other candidate was crap. I think Mamdani’s supermarket charter program idea is super interesting.

      Cuomo’s ass grab ideas seem less interesting.

      Can we maybe leave it there?

      The Democratic establishment exists only to fight off actual left leaning candidates, not to fight against the right. They can’t do shit against Trump or the GOP, but if it involves AOC or Bernie, suddenly they become fucking Batman.
