At NO point in history have „armed masked men“ been on the right side of things.
the only reason to wear a mask is if you are doing something wrong. Same reason those Neo Nazis wear them.

You’d think every state legislature would’ve immediately enacted laws requiring that all agents identify themselves and show their faces, right after the first abduction happened. This isn’t okay.
I’m all for this and think every state should pass laws like this one. My only worry is who will enforce it? Does this setup a standoff between federal and local authorities?

I don’t see NY having much luck dictating what federal officers can and can not do. I highly doubt any police officer would actually try and enforce this anyway.
State and local police need to step up and start arresting ICE agents. It’s protect and serve not aid and abet.

In times of covid, the highest court that rules over the administration was almost never against them. On one major exception: no one can hide their face on public grounds, especially the police forces. Because the face is the base of personal identity. Also, the squad who deals with terrorist attacks can wear masks. For obvious purposes. But their call is when someone hijacks a plane, bombs a place, or kidnapp people in a supermarket. About three times in ten years.
I don’t understand why they have to be masked. Even repo men and lawyers don’t wear masks, and they have some of the most hated jobs out there!
