He’s such a selfish creep. Yeah I know this is well established, but it needs to be said.

He’s ignoring it completely because it was a Trump supporter who killed them.

AND he just doesn’t give a fuck.

    3. Because Republicans either dont care or quietly support the shooter. I expect it wont be long before we hear about millions of donations to the terrorist legal defense.

What kind of cold-hearted sicko looks at the images of Melissa Hortman, her husband Mark and their sweet golden retriever and doesn’t feel anything because they belong to a different political party? A president with class would have gone regardless of political party.

    5. Answer is… he’s a malignant narcissist who flicks his small mushroom tip to “strong men”.

On the one hand, disgusting and classless. Also dangerous, because it implies a tacit approval of this partisan violence.

On the other hand, I’m kind of glad he didn’t go or issue a statement because that means he didn’t find a way to make it all about himself. The Hortmans deserve better than anything he could or would ever give.

He has far more important matters to attend to – like golf and watching cable news. 🙄🙄 He couldn’t even be bothered to make a phone call.

Of course. He ignores anything that doesn’t reflect well on HIM. Because it’s always about him. And he has no class.

Dude is partly responsible for fomenting so much hatred. He should be held accountable.

I saw that Biden attended and embraced the families of the victims. If not Biden himself, I’m already missing the decency the Oval Office once had…AGAIN. Another four years of sociopathic narcissism and callous disregard.

    11. I wouldn’t want that fat tub of lard at a funeral for a friend or loved one anyway.

Political leaders from the opposition party winding up dead with tacit, if not outright approval of the ruling party. But this isn’t fascism.

      Alright then.

If anyone expected Trump to show remorse, much less sympathy for the victims, they are not paying attention. Trump is morally complicit. He incited these deaths just as he incited the treasonous insurrection on January 6th.

Trump has been very vocal and consistent about his desire to have Americans treat him like Hitler was treated, and like Kim Jong Un is treated. Those dictators tortured and killed many of their citizens to reach that level of fear in the populance. Dictators and Trump don’t have to do the killing themselves. They have people to do it for them. Trump is doing everything within his power to create those circumstances for himself now. He’s already successful, to a certain degree, but he’s just getting started.

As far as Donald Trump is concerned, people killed on his behalf, is killing according to his plan.

I know hate is wrong but I don’t hate anybody as much as I hate this guy

This is a man who had to write „I hear you“ on cards so he could have talking points for meeting families whose children were killed in a school shooting. He does not know kindness, empathy, humor or healing. He’s just a weeping, narcissistic open sore on our nation. Behavior that should surprise absolutely nobody.

What an inept piece of shit.

    16. This is what happens when you put a felon back in with no consequences after his first stint of overthrowing the government

What did people think was going to happen

    17. A normal president—who isn’t the most detestable human being to ever hold the office—would denounce his own supporter for carrying out such a heinous, anti-democratic act of pure political violence, but Donald Trump *supports* political violence, so we cannot expect such normal, presidential behavior from him.

      1. He incited political violence on January 6, 2021. He’s not stupid; he knew exactly what he was doing. He brought his people to the Capitol, gave an incendiary speech, and let them loose.
      2. He publicly defended the perpetrators of said political violence for four years and promised to pardon them if reelected.
      3. He pardoned said perpetrators his first day back in office.
      4. He is poised to tell the DOJ not to fight—and instead to *settle*—a civil lawsuit brought by the criminals who attacked our Capitol; they will get a huge payday (courtesy of the US taxpayer) as a result.

Again, he’s not as stupid as he pretends to be. He understands how people think. He understands how incitement of violence works. He knows how to motivate his own supporters. He did it all on purpose, and then he sent the same message Hitler sent to his Brownshirts when they were rampaging through German streets, beating and often murdering innocent people: “I’ve got your back. I’ll pardon you. I’ll pay you. Commit violence on my behalf.”

So I never expected this career criminal and instigator of political violence to suddenly act like a normal president by denouncing the violence committed by one of his supporters or even so much as calling the governor of the state where it happened.

He’s a piece of shit. He will always be a piece of shit. Expecting him to change is like placing your hand above an open flame and believing *this time, it won’t be hot*.
