A very non-serious proposal. About half of these points are just transferring costs to other levels of government.
The OAS clawback threshold can be significantly lowered. As it is we’re giving UBI to couples earning up to $180k a year, which is ridiculous.
Shutting down federal office space would help get some major annual savings. There’s no need for that much and we’ve proven many roles can be done remotely.
