It will work somehow, but is a bit too thick and soft, the display will wiggle and vibrate. I’ve used it for a phone holder on the dashboard too.
EDIT: i have eventually resorted to some 3M paper thin tape, you might look into that too.
Probably not… These Tesa Tapes are not that great in the temperature conditions on the dash
My idea would be original 3M VHB…
