Do we have any indication that he would want to fix it? Both the Liberals and the Conservatives seem much more interested in helping businesses than citizens. They vote together as a bloc when anything competition-related comes up.

HSR in Europe has managed to make short haul flights between major cities obsolete in conjunction with EU bans on environmentally bad short haul flights. What we need is an HSR system that connects our major cities with cross country flights and international flights.
Just allow more competition please. Let international carriers enter the domestic market. The world will not end.
