      I don’t think any government official operating in the US should be wearing a mask. They should he easily identifiable since they are servants of the public

      I mean many states have laws now where you cant where a mask when protesting, so it should only be fair that ice agents shouldnt wear a mask.
      No visible ID / Badge, no enforcement of uniforms and masks, sure isnt a great combo

      All of America should be concerned about masked terror squads that go around kidnapping people off the streets. But red states think those are Trump’s special guys and they are only abducting brown foreign people, so they have nothing to worry about. Lots of people just don’t care until it affects them personally.

      EVERYONE should want to ban masked ICE agents. Otherwise anyone with enough confidence could just kidnap you by pretending to be ICE and no one would know who to look for.

      They absolutely need to be unmasked and have actual warrants. It’s scary thinking any Joe shmoo can gear themselves up and claim to be ICE/Police/Fed and just take people. Added to that on my local FB page there is an old police enforcer car for sale still geared out with the crash bar in the front, the sirens and lights and the jail back seat. The doors don’t unlock from inside, the seats and plastic, and it still has the bars dividing the front and back seats. Anyone who wants to steal people off the street could buy that car, dress like these wanna be’s and kidnap people. And if they target migrants there is little to no recourse for the families trying to find their loved one.

      Criminal wear masks for their shameful acts too.

      Law enforcement should not have secret identities. They should be held accountable to the people they serve.

      Just abolish ICE when they get the congress back. Remove all the funding. This is one organization that is completely off its tracks. For now removing masks, and hopefully adding required credential and badges, is a start and is likely all they can get while the Trump ass kissers have Congress.

      I no longer want badge numbers to be small text on their shields (or wherever they have it, if they have it). I want that shit as big as the Sheriff, or SWAT logo on their body armor and shirts. Make it Velcro so when one gets fired they can replace it with another and if they don’t wear it they’ll be fined $500 for the first offense, and doubled for each offense. Two offenses? $1000. Five? $8000. Keep fuckin around and you’ll be sitting along the homeless they harass.
