It probably would have been easier for Eminem if he didn’t continually mention his daughter’s name in his songs or run down her mother in his lyrics.
I mean, I’m sure she’s getting a bit of a taste for it. But there’s no world where she’ll ever understand the level of fame her dad had, or the *type* of fame he had.
A lot of these young’ns forget that the rap game didn’t really let a lot of white people in back then. So, on top of just being a famous celebrity with mental health issues, he also had people tearing apart and discussing his racial identity, accusing him of pretending to be black and stuff like that. And that was coming from white people and black people.
And that’s to say nothing of his daughter being used as a weapon against him during all their little feuds back then.
So I understand what she’s saying, but she really can’t understand what her dad dealt with.
I mean she definitely understands it better.. But its hard to understand how big he was and how much happened to him those first couple years when he blew up.
Basically overnight he was one of the biggest names in music, and immediately he’s in court cases with his mom, his school bully, his wife..

He didn’t raise her in the spotlight he put her in the spotlight because of his songs, plus he is a recluse between albums so it’s not like he was out and about with her growing up. No hate as I’m a Eminem fan but just saying.
