How exactly?
Iran knows they have zero deterrence from Israel and the US from bombing them to smitherens if they rush to a bomb.
Hell even the Europeans who have been caustic (if understandably so) towards Israel and the US have largely defended the strikes. So if the diplomatic argument really isn’t there.
Neolib clowns at Foreign Affairs are mad that the neocons were right for once.
Iran was already refusing to negotiate diplomatically. I don’t know why commentators keep pretending like they have been acting in good faith. Then again it seems Foreign Affair’s default position nowadays is to critique everything the west/US does, while refusing to acknowledge any errors committed by their opponents.
