      I don’t really care what he thinks, although if he were to ever try and use his media platform to make an honest and positive impact I would support it. Eventually, probably. But I won’t hold my breath.

      I think a lot of people who are right wing because they want to be allowed to say slurs in jokes are realizing that we were right about who they were allying themselves with. They said we were alarmist to call the alt-right fascists and now they’re watching the fascism

      In a just world they would apologize and never they’d their own judgement again.

      Rogan is not too dumb to realize that Trump was promising ICE raids even as he gave the famous, election altering endorsement. Rogan is shit. He’s running a business and he is tuned in to whatever populist static is crackling through social media on any given day.

      He reads the room and pivots accordingly. He needs to stay relevant and if endorsing a dictator adds a few hundred thousand Benjamins to the stack, he’s going to do it. If supporting a movement associated with fascism and bigotry winds up hurting his bottom line, he’ll change trajectory. He once supported Bernie Sanders and then Trump. This should indicate that his compass is so broken and haywire, that he might as well be broadcasting from the North Pole. Rogan is nobody special. Just another business man. His business just happens to be echoing and amplifying the fickle sentiments of GenX and Millenials, both of whom are often at odds with one another yet both are vital to his overall viewership and income stream. It’s a balancing act or circus juggling.

      Within 5 seconds of trump saying he was going to deport criminals, I was like no he isn’t. The guy who bankrupted a casino and doesn’t pay his bills will do no such thing and in fact will just start going after the lowest hanging fruit. It took all of 5 seconds for most of us to predict exactly what would happen….but this guy gets a billion dollars!!
