Rahma 100% disagreed with the joke? What’s to disagree with? They absolutely will not start paying people a living wage – that’s the point. I don’t know how much more proof anyone could want at this point. They also never get called out as unpatriotic when they send jobs overseas, to again, avoid paying a living wage. Instead we give them tax breaks and subsidies. They’re the leeches, not immigrants or illegals.
Worked at a precast concrete place maybe five years or more ago. As I was there, guys said it was the one year anniversary of the place getting raided. They said the next day, everyone left got a couple bucks an hour raise. Blew my mind because the place still paid like shit. Republican owned and operated of course. I think they should’ve deported the owners. Because only one of these groups of people were betraying America and Americans. The other group was doing the most American thing possible.
