He put them in danger by broadcasting the attack. And gave Iran a weeks notice to move things.

It’s more affordable to spend your governments money on American politicians than it is to build your own weapons.

“They’re the best shots in the world. They call them shots, that’s what they are, and wait a minute, and I just hope you can give them the respect they deserve because they came home to fake news and like gosh, oh gee, there was hardly any damage,” Trump said of the pilots.

Sounds like a SNL skit lmao

You know who else went into incoherent rants?

I’ll give you one guess. It happened in Germany about 80-90 years ago.

    5. Hope all headlines automatically include Trump’s age. He’s honestly too old.

    6. Hilarious! Trump melting down in an incoherent rant is NOT NEWS, that’s his Normal.

If he ever makes a complicated, rational statement based on objective consideration of the facts, evidence, and potential solutions, that would be news.

      Sad…

    7. patniemeyer on

By implication he’s also saying that if the mission was a failure it was somehow the bomber pilots‘ fault… As if it’s a simple as „pilot good = mission successful“. If it were a democratic president Fox would be running the headline „President blames heroic bomber pilots for mission failure“.

    8. Proper-Ad-2058 on

Dozin‘ Donnie loves to be incoherent! It is part of his 17 D chess!!!!

    9. Stillwater215 on

Why is it so hard for him to say “the pilots did their job and accomplished the mission as planned. We’re assessing the damage done, but are optimistic about its success.”

    10. Ok-Lets-Talk-It-Out on

The pilots did their mission to perfection. Their mission was dropping bombs on a site without being shot down. They accomplished it.

Trump was the one distributing fake news and when called out trying to US these brave men and women as cover. Let’s all remember if any of those pilots were shot down and become POWs Trump would consider them losers.

He’s falling apart because he isn’t getting all the attention he had hoped for after this.

    13. francois_du_nord on

First, it is early to have any definitive information on the damage inside Fordo. It is probable that Israel has operatives on the ground in Iran, possible that US does too – if they can get info from someone who has been there in person, or they themselves go.

But let’s assume that the assessment is accurate, and damage was minimal.

The real issue isn’t that the bombing was ineffective, the real issue is that if you want to completely destroy a target, it may take multiple sorties. The mission as designed by the Administration was short-sighted. It was more as a show of power with the hope that a limited strike would stop the enrichment of uranium and the potential for Iran to build a bomb. This was essentially a slap to the face of a MMA fighter. It didn’t knock him out.

I’m sure that the US Air Force is ready and able to strike the targets again, multiple times if necessary to get the desired outcome. The TACO-in-Chief just didn’t have the spine or the understanding that this wasn’t a one and done mission.

Every soldier suffering under this commander in chief should get a Medal of Honor.

    15. > He also claimed to have spoken to one of the pilots, who told him it was a “perfect” bomb drop.

      Like the perfect phone call?

I do not think that word means what you think it means.

    16. FreedomBread on

It’s not that the pilots didn’t do their jobs right, or aren’t heroes, it’s that this administration is incapable of doing just about anything right and also refuses to put forth the effort this nation deserves and should expect.

    17. FIDoAlmighty on

He’s friends with Vince McMahon. If you think of it in kayfabe terms all the lying does make a weird sort of sense. Not saying it makes it okay. Or even right. The problem is he’s butting up against reality and reality doesn’t give a shit about kayfabe.

    18. Oceanbreeze871 on

Trump made the full might of the US military look incompetent and ineffective. Good job TOFU.

    19. What is this weird straw man they keep putting out there?

I haven’t heard anyone say the strikes failed because the pilots and bombardiers did a bad job.

They were sent against targets that were specifically designed to withstand this specific kind of attack. Sometimes bombs don’t work the way you intend.

    20. Unusual-Economist288 on

Is ANYONE not praising these pilots? They completed their mission flawlessly. It’s YOU, Orange Shart Stain From Hell, that we’re on about

    21. Academic_Release5134 on

As if claiming that the attack didn’t obliterate the nuclear program is a shot at the pilots. Why the hell is he blaming the pilots!!

    22. That mission has been gamed out years ago and determined to be unable to achieve the desired effect. He was told it wouldn’t work. He ordered the mission anyway. As expected, it didn’t achieve the purported goal of the mission. Now he’s crying and doing what he always does and tries to shift the blame to anyone but him. Real men accept responsibility for their actions including their mistakes. He’s a fucking toddler.

    23. Heliosvector on

Typical. Can’t take criticism, so tries to paint critics as „hero haters“

    24. NOONE knew the extent of the damage 20 mins after it happened! Per usual, he made wild claims and can’t deal with the remote suggestion that he may be incorrect. Get the fuck over it, or better yet don’t just say shit that can’t be backed up to begin with. Either way, it’s a you problem Donakd.

    25. He’s a national embarrassment.

But you people who admire him… I will never trust a trump supporter ever again.

    26. This the same guy who said POWs arnt hero’s and shat on gold star families?

    28. captaincanada84 on

Constantly using the word „obliterated“ doesn’t change the fact that the mission failed. They keep using that word.

    29. sniffstink1 on

Trump is an excellent illustration why historically America has never chosen weak thin-skinned people to be their leader.

This guy’s a real historical anomaly.

    30. I was wondering about this, yes the mission was successful in the sense the bombers hit their target, but now reports seem like we didn’t damage their nuclear capabilities like first claimed

    31. „perfect“, wee bit of a tell there; it wasn’t perfect and it wasn’t successful.

      Guy: “They’re Heroes!!”

    33. Stonkasaurus1 on

His NATO rant was ridiculous. He acts like a 6 year old braggart that is exaggerating everything, thinks everyone is his friend and lives in his own reality. I am embarrassed for the USA that this blowhard represents them. He so desperately wants to be respected for being powerful but doesn’t understand the first thing about projecting real power. If he did, he would shut up. Everyone knows how strong the US military is. Bragging about it is pointless and completely diminish the message. Quiet power is much more effective.

    34. tacoheadbob on

You know what gets tiring? Seeing how many headlines start with Trump raging or melting down. At some point we are going to be surprised when he doesn’t do any of those. Maybe we can look forward to that day when he is no longer the darling of media that he plays himself out to be.
