


Ich habe diese schönen ägyptischen Gänse heute in der Nähe des Flughafens in Zaventem gesehen, und so süß ich sie finde, gelten sie in Belgien als invasiv. Gibt es einen Platz, an dem diese Gänse außerhalb von Waaremingen.be melden können, und was wird mit ihnen geschehen, wenn überhaupt?

Depends who you report to. My take:

There are thousands of these in Flanders, bit late to start a deportation program.
You haven’t noticed the green parrots yet?
There’s like 30 of them living in the Etangs of Ixelles and they even have an info desk about them there. If they are invasive species in Belgium, they have been quite domiciled for a while.
They are so lovely though!
There are currently no active measures against these geese. They can be exterminated without prior notice by anyone in BE, but the central reporting point (website) only registers the sightings for follow-up.
