If only we were half as relevant on the world stage as our adversaries think we are. Iran’s national security would hardly be affected if Scotland went independent, we barely have a presence in the Strait of Hormuz beyond a minesweeper. In the wider Middle East perhaps but I struggle to see how jets in Cyprus would be affected by Scottish independent.

so if it isn’t rupert murdoch, barclay brothers et al then its a hostile state. OK, i guess its the side effect of having a democracy i guess.
I also guess someone in that group ACTUALLY won the Brexit vote. I can envisage them cracking out the most expensive bottle of bubbles (or Lassi for those non-alcoholic drinkers).

‘’ The content mixed pro-independence rhetoric with populist criticism of the UK government, anti-monarchy sentiment, and solidarity with progressive causes. One tweet, which was viewed over a million times, stated, “the people robbing this country travel by private jet not by dinghy.”’’
Explains quite a bit if this is also implicated in the culture wars.
