This is the capstone of Stephen Harper’s time in government.
It’s the perfect showcase of cutting costs to get through an election and not seeing the consequences until years later.
Payroll is something every corporation in Canada does every two weeks. It’s not hard and it took a particularly incompetent government to mess it up.

Perhaps the problem is privatizion, eh? Contracting-in payroll might be a better solution than Dayforce.
5 Billions and nobody came out with why it doesn’t work yet… They’ll keep on milking a few more billions before doing anything that actually helps.
Very practical that employees aren’t allowed to talk about it.
