The threat of attacks by Iranian sleeper cells inside the United States has “never been higher”, officials said, after Tehran warned it would activate agents if President Trump bombed its nuclear sites.
The Iranians are believed to have sent a message to US diplomats during the G7 meeting in Canada last week, raising the threat of terrorist attacks on American soil in retaliation for any military intervention.
Trump left the meeting a day early, returning to the White House to plan his response to the conflict in the Middle East. On Saturday night seven B-2 stealth bombers, using 30,000lb bunker-busting bombs, struck nuclear sites in Iran. Other warplanes and submarine-launched tomahawk cruise missiles were also used in the attack.
Spoiler alert: Iran doesn’t need to do this. The US already does this to ourselves via a mass shooting on average every day.
Seems like just another excuse for Americans to treat minorities like crap
IMO it’s hard to believe Iran would intentionally neuter its “retaliatory” face-saving strike to prevent a US response, and then go on to activate sleeper cells in the US.
If they were going to do that, why try to prevent yourself from killing any Americans in the missile reprisal?

Everyone who lived through the early war on terror knows not to buy into this.
Iran doesn’t project influence into the US. They’ve shown remarkable restraint at times when pushed into a corner. They’re not the loose cannon the West likes to think of them as.
Maybe there are sympathetic terrorists here, but mass violence is sort of par for the course in America. It’s hard to discuss this sort of thing without being privy to the intel. Right now it seems an awful lot like various media outlets fell right back into sensationalism.
Thank the red voters for this chaos and for the state-sanctioned disappearances of people in the US.

The comments from the administration are to fearmonger and create hate. If any major attacks do happen it’s at the direction of the CIA, I find it incredibly hard to believe sleeper cells are in the US.
While I don’t doubt that Iran has assets in America, activating them now would be stupid, unless to prove a point.
If America was going for a regime change, and/or had boots on the ground, then it’s a different story.
