We knew that would happen.
Reportedly a U.S. base in Iraq is also being hit.
Sadly, this was predictable after Trump’s decision to get US military involved in the Israel-Iran war.
This isn’t really surprising nor is this the first time it happened. Most likely Iran warned the US beforehand so they could evacuate troops.
Since Iran is busy getting absolutely humiliated by Israel it would make a lot of sense for Iran to pursue de-escalation. They might talk big publicly to make their supporters and proxies happy but unless they want to see an actual attempt at regime change I imagine Iran is going to be very careful about how they retaliate.
This was expected, question is weather Khameni is ready to see heaven early or not.
Israeli media reports at least 10 missiles launched towards US bases in Iraq and Qatar.
There’s at least some chance this is basically scripted, meaning Iran informed the United States (either directly or through an intermediary) ahead of time so everyone could take shelter.
If it’s not scripted, 80% chance I’d wager that United States responds with force. If an American is killed, it’ll be overwhelming force.

Iran is essentially a weak opponent at this point of time. This is them posturing aggressively and striking where it doesn’t really hurt. It’s a show of force to save the face and de escalate the situation.

Qatar will pave the way for US forces to strike Iran directly from Al Udeid Air Base, and I wouldn’t be surprised if Israel also joins these campaigns from that base.
All countries attacked by Iran will open their airspace against Iran. At the very least, there will be a reason to bomb those military bases.
The Gulf states have taken a neutral stance from the start. The American and Israeli aircraft bombing Tehran do not take off from the Gulf. This is just sheer stupidity.
