I never would’ve thought in 2025 the U.S. would still be complicit and participating in destabilization of another middle eastern country. I guess things never change…. very sad.

Crazy this is getting downvoted, I didn’t think this was a hot take…

Bombing prisons…? How are you doing that without killing prisoners which would most likely be those who opposed the government. Am I crazy here?

    3. This is the first target that’s purely symbolic which indicates that Israel’s running short* of targets.

*the video showing helicopters being destroyed signals this too.

While I understand the symbol of attacking a tool of oppression, I don’t get the actual objective. Anyone held in there was probably against the iranian regime in some way, but they were stuck in their cells and just got bombed and killed with no way to evacuate. It’s like executing a tied down prisoner with a bullet in the head but more expensive.

    5. Who are the people in these prisons and what is the objective of bombing them, free political prisoners who can cause on-the-ground chaos?

Anyone can explain why those are targeted? Is it to free prisoners or neutralise them or something else?
