They use like twelve guys, numerous vehicles, and long shifts for everyone, to catch like one person. It’s the most inefficient modern deportation campaign in American history, but I guess also the most dehumanizing, which is why Republicans love it so much.
I am curious if this continues down this path and someone defends themselves by shooting an unidentified masked person trying to abduct them, how that would pay out in court.
And they were worried about IRS agents.

What Trump is attempting to do is to set up a two-tier legal system, in which groups of people targeted by Trump are denied access to the legal system used by the rest of the country. This is a common ploy of authoritarians – because resistance to these attacks on the rule of law is weaker when these changes do not apply to everyone. It is much easier to pretend ‚this if fine‘ when you yourself are not a member of one of the groups being attacked.

They are hiring the shitheads that are being fired from private security firms. I work for one. Two folks fired recently for sleeping on the job and traffic violations are now working for ICE at a facility in Washington state. Our HR director recently mentioned we are losing more folks to them.
