All sympathy to her, but it kind of makes you wonder where that leaves the rest of us who don’t work in Hollywood and aren’t married to a former NBA superstar.
Girl get real, just literally spend time with him. When my gramps went through that the whole family took shifts watching tv with gramps. Just say youre not interested in doing that, dont make it abt money wtf.
She and her husband are worth a combined $200+ million. This is so tone deaf. I feel awful for her father but it sounds like he’s getting amazing care.
You have enough money to pay for his treatment. I have to imagine he would prefer to spend time with his daughter.
Because it seems like she’s going where the money is so she can maintain all her cozy luxuries while also paying for her dad’s treatment. It’s not like she’s struggling to get the money together. She’s just struggling to get it together in a way that doesn’t affect her lifestyle.
My mom was diagnosed with breast cancer about 4 days ago. My parents have some money, but they do not have „survive cancer treatment“ money. So this seems pretty fucking tone deaf in regards the rest of the country.
Isn’t she married to a former NBA star? I’m sure her dad is receiving top care which is expensive, but it’s not like they can’t afford it. Maybe downgrade a home or two if it’s an issue. This is one of those out of touch with reality posts
This is such a horribly out of touch thing to say. She and her husband have literally hundreds of millions of dollars, and they could both get jobs making millions a year on television in a heartbeat.
Celebrities being this out of touch shouldn’t be surprising.
It does always surprise me that some of them are this vocal about it though.
She is one of a relatively small number of people who does have the ability to pursue basically the exact life she wants in the face of something as horrible as a parent being in memory care.
This is the most wildly out of touch thing I’ve heard in my life. Dwayne Wade made 200 million in his career from base salary alone. Gabrielle Union is a Hollywood millionaire many times over.
