You can bet that Iran will now be eyeing US bases with their missles. Things are about to get messy real fast.

    2. All the essential stuff would be long gone from the nuclear sites.

Nuclear material for bombs is small and would have been removed and widely distributed away from the area.

Well, so much for campaigning on being the „Anti-War“ candidate….

Edit: Didn’t he say he would think about it for 2 weeks before making a move? What a joke….

    4. Not very surprising given all the recent indicators. It’s a great opportunity for the Iranian public to rise up and overthrow the theocracy. If the current Iranian officials survive this, they will feel more incensed than ever before to become a nuclear state – that’s literally the only deterrence that works against stronger enemies.

    5. How does this not absolutely cook the long game?

Let’s say the regime plays smart, agree to abandon all nuclear armament and asks to sanctions to be lifted and the war to be ended. It’ll spend the next 20 years rearming to a capacity that will spend a better chance of stopping this from happening again before re-pursuing the bomb. The US knows this, they won’t want anything short of regime change, which they inevitably fail at.
