Can someone coherently tell me what his agenda is? I’m serious.
In my opinion, as someone who has worked around a lot of bad actors, (prisons, social work) agents of chaos look to “fix problems” by making them worse, throwing gas on fires, using it to get “power”, and then “negotiating” with the opposition to “fix the problem” often times nothing changes from the start, except for a transfer of power.
I’ll give an example that is oddly specific but appropriate. I worked as a LT in a max prison, we had a new major who was a known scumbag (poaching, sexual harassment, tax fraud, sexual misconduct, etc). He never did anything as a LT. But when he was major he started locking up inmates left and right for minor offenses and blamed the LTs for not doing their jobs. He then created a policy that LTs had to be “on units” and not assisting with administrative work to address the “growing rule violations & get control of the facility back”. While the LTs were on unit, he would assign his favorite pretty young female LT to control all rosters, overtime, and other aspects of the day to day functions, often time he would leave and she would cover for him, and of course no one was allowed in that area anymore to document it. Eventually, the LTs were given one desk to share to complete their duties but it was away from his area and they were no longer given a key to that office, preventing them from reviewing any of the changes, that were against our policy and to the direct benefit of that Major. At the end of the day, the LTS were able to return to their normal work day, the institution was back to normal functioning, the only change was that the LTS lost their ability to observe his work.
I’ve seen a thousand people like this and it’s like a playbook for NPD or ASPD, when it’s unregulated or unchecked.
I’m not being facetious, if someone had been able to coherently identify a political ideology of MAGA that isn’t based in chaos and bigotry I’d love to hear it or be pointed in the correct direction to better understand it.
