New research from the University of Georgia is shedding light on how different countries are preparing for how AI will impact their workforces. The paper is [published](https://journals.sagepub.com/doi/10.1177/15344843251332360) in the journal *Human Resource Development Review*.
According to previous research, almost half of today’s jobs could vanish over the next 20 years. But it’s not all doom and gloom.
Researchers also [estimate](https://phys.org/news/2020-06-dont-robots-future-workers.html) that 65% of current elementary school students will have jobs in the future that don’t exist now. Most of these new careers will require advanced AI skills and knowledge.
That’s…. Actually pretty good! I mean, proper training and education of AI would really help in the future. They wouldn’t underestimated or overestimated the impact of AI.
Also, seeing my country if Indonesia put in the medium category is a surprise, but a welcome one.
