Mr. Kelly, this may cone as a surprise to you, but you are in DOC now. They don’t care. Your health, your sanity, your wellbeing? Your problem. Their duties are keeping you inside and (theoretically) preventing the lot of you from killing each other. Not because your safety matters, but because it’s extra work for them if someone stabs you. And they hate extra work. It is a system without humanity, empathy, or pity. That is the bed you have made for yourself, and there is no one who will worry overmuch about your sorrow as you lay in it.
He’s just trying everything to get out isn’t he.
