* Including the 220 orders Trump signed during his first term, he has so far issued 383 executive orders as president with more than three years remaining in the White House. That’s significant by modern standards, beating out all of his predecessors since Dwight D. Eisenhower, including Barack Obama (276 total orders), George W. Bush (291), Bill Clinton (364), George H. W. Bush (166), and Ronald Reagan (381).

Another accusation becomes a confession. The GOP complained about this from Biden and from Obama.
And he has no idea what is in 95% of those orders that he has signed.
An important consideration is that Republicans control the presidency, have majorities in the House and the Senate, and an ideologically aligned 6-3 majority on the Supreme Court. If they wanted to enact lasting policy, they should have minimal impediments to doing so. The crutch of executive orders serves as little more than PR releases, guidance that is superceded by laws, and empty filler. Weak, and low energy, particularly considering the greater context.

It amazes me how one person can have so much power in a non-authoritarian country, although I didn’t realise it until Trump took power.
And I’ll bet you anything he doesn’t know what 90% of them even say. He’s just handed these documents from the Project 2025 bastards. Then he signs them with his fucking crayon like a 5-year-old and goes and plays golf or does a maga rally and acts like he’s doing something.
He is dictating with executive order. That’s why so many courts stop his EO and why he has so many injunctions. Trump thinks he is king with his EO.

Trojan horses move soldiers far further and faster than they would go on foot and in plain sight. Trump is a Trojan horse.
He is a barely sentient vehicle for the hidden threats who propelled him for their own interests. He’s very near to needing physical assistance, literally pushed on wheels just to get around, very much in keeping with the Trojan horse metaphor.
We need to be talking ar more about the people using him than we talk about him directly.
Executive orders arent executive orders until they have funding from Congress and approved by the supreme Court.
They literally control all three branches of government. They could actually write these into law if they wanted to but they’re not cause then Republicans would have to be on record as being gutless cowards.
Only took him a week to sign more ineffective/illegal EOs than Biden.
