Buy a dehumidifier
Douleftaras app. Search for professionals to deal with it because afak black mold is no joke
I found mold spray at the hardware store and it cleaned the surface mold perfectly. I would also scrub with a broom the roof and clean it with that.
For mold inside the walls you should call a professional
Put bleach on the mold outbreak places, and a dehumidifier in the room
You can temporarily resolve the issue by buying anti mold spray. You spray a bit, leave it and wipe it off. If it keeps coming back then you need to find a specialist to fix the issue.
Buy Bison mildew remover (it’s in every major supermarket)
Follow instructions on the package
For me it was the only thing that worked
1) identify the reason that causes the mold so you can prevent it in future
2)buy a spray and spong do it on the spot clean it afterwards
Firstly, kill it with special mould spray, as others said. And/or soak everything with hydrogen peroxide. Don’t use chlorine (works only superficial) or vinegar (not strong enough, creates acid environment).
Then as a long term solution, if you can’t solve the real reason for the humidity (or if that’s too expensive), scratch off the paint and try to find lime paint or „mineral paint“. Those paints are strongly alkaline and create an environment where mould cannot grow. You can also apply some some anti-fungi additives but they don’t last for very long.
Remove old paint and plaster. Smooth wall with plaster with anti-mold compounds, paint over twice. You may need to remove A/C and light fixtures for duration of that work.
If you don’t know how to do it, ask builders. My estimate (with ceiling) is about €2-3k per room. You will also get smooth walls and a new paint.
Your apartment 🤣😂, every apartment in Cyprus it’s like that. use mold cleaner but in a few months it will be the same. 95% of the building in Cyprus does not have isolation.
