      “I never really followed ‘Kill Bill‘ up with action because I didn’t kind of want to be in a whole bunch of ‘B’ action movies,” Thurman said. “When you do ‘Kill Bill,’ you never stop hearing about, you know, it’s like, ‘Oh, got to be very careful about what I do next.’ So I did other stuff.”

      Wasn’t she a superhero in a movie, “My Super Ex-Girlfriend”? Yep! Made in 2006. KB ended in 2003.

      I thought she did the drama parts really well, but the problem with action movies like KB is that you “should” move your body with grace and some kind of athleticism. She’s kind of klutzy.

      It’s amazing that a model who can’t act and get so many roles. Something is suspicious about her success.

      To be fair, it’s pretty hard to top what is IMO the best action film ever made. Uma Thurman never really got her day in the sun after those flicks. She kills it in some of these smaller indie flicks, but I think she could be winning Oscars.

      Interesting that she frames it like that rather than blaming QT for doing permanent damage to her back by forcing her to do the most unnecessary car stunt when she wasn’t prepared to. Even worse is that scene doesn’t even look like anything crazy in the actual movie and they totally didn’t need to shoot something like that on location on a real dirt road
