Either do something about it or don’t. None of us wants to hear you say shit and then do nothing. That is more insulting than if you just shit in your hand and throw it in our fucking faces. At least then we can wipe it off our faces and use it to grow flowers.
We can’t do a fucking thing with your fake sympathy.

By Khaleda Rahman – National Correspondent:
A Republican congressman has called out the Trump administration for cutting the 988 National Suicide & Crisis Lifeline service tailored to LGBTQ+ youth.
„This is wrong,“ Representative Mike Lawler of New York wrote on X, formerly Twitter.
„According to studies, LGBTQ+ young people have an elevated risk of suicide and are more likely than their peers to attempt it. We should ensure they have the resources necessary to get help. The 988 hotline has been a lifesaver. This decision should be reversed.“

Until republicans actually do something to stop it, I do not care to hear them talk at all. No one cares to listen to their bullshit and pretending to care.

At this point, the only articles I want to see about Republican politicians is about them actually taking political action (voting against bad bills, voting to impeach, etc).
This performative outrage that they do for plausible deniability is getting old – we’ve seen them saying “this is wrong” or that they’re varying levels of “concerned”, only for them to come out and vote on party lines (and vote for the very things they were “concerned” about). None of it matters unless they actually do something.
Troops have been sent to LA (and some people, including a reporter, have been shot by non-lethal rounds), people (including citizens) are getting snatched off the street without being able to defend themselves in court and every policy that they’ve put forth is going to harm people (like this cutting of suicide hotlines, or cutting Medicaid and social security). We’ve got him pardoning violent J6 rioters, which emboldens extremists to take violent action as they can now expect pardons as long as they’re loyal.
This is without even accounting for Trump’s incoherent tariff policy causing economic instability, Trump pushing away allies that we’ve worked with for decades, and lying openly (claiming he brokered deals that he never did, either regarding trade or war) and embarrassing the USA on the world stage.
If none of this recent insanity is enough to prompt Republican politicians to take tangible political actions, then I’m not sure what will.

Sounds like Trump wants to get rid of LGBTQ+ early so he doesn’t need to throw them out of the military and/or protect them legally. Trump – IMO – to go after kids – has serious issues.
