Mike Lee is reprehensible. So was Orrin Hatch before him. Utah can do a lot better. I refuse to believe they’re sending their best people.

Nothing unusual. Just your average MAGA loon whose brains leaked out of his ears a decade ago.

He’s not wrong.
Not on Mike Lee’s utter lack of anything resembling empathy nor on America’s blind spot to gun violence.

Mike Lee is reprehensible. Anyone that works with him should be considered tainted. Including Senator Daines, selling out Montana.

Stewart has the right idea. Focus on Lee. Why are the Republicans going along with his crap when their constituents in ALL WESTERN STATES don’t want the land sales? Something else is going on.

I’m becoming convinced that many of our so called ‚leaders‘ are sociopaths or psychopaths. Sen. Lee seems to be elbowing his way to the front.

What’s wrong with him?
He’s a giant nepo baby who thinks he’s the chosen one—but he pales in comparison to his father and his brother. (I don’t agree with their politics, but their resumes are vastly more impressive than Lee’s—who literally only attended schools run or associated with his father and just capitalized on his name to get elected.) As a lawyer, he clerked for Alito twice. On purpose. Other than that, he is fairly unremarkable as a male from that family (I note this only because being a male with a certain name—Udall, Benson, McKay, Young, Smith, etc.) goes a LONG way in Utah.
In private practice, the highest profile case he ever had was defending EnergySolutions, who wanted to store nuclear waste from Italy. The Utah legislature didn’t want it to. He lost.
As a Senator, he has named a bunch of post offices and been ranked highly on all the right wing ranking things. I am hard-pressed to remember any other legislative accomplishments.
Make of this what you will.
Also: He also once openly admitted that Ted Cruz was his best friend. That, alone, should merit a visit from his Bishop. He is objectively cringe and I am not certain he understands that.

God I wish he would run for prez…. He’d get everyone’s vote. Both sides. Dudes a class act and more knowing in politics than he gives himself credit.
He may be Americas last great hope

Gotta love Jon Stewart… guy’s got a talent for words. Can’t punctuate Mike Lee’s depravity any better than this.

This is who is responsible for the public land sale provision. I hope the eastern states understand how horrific this is for land that you own!
Contact your elected delegation, ESPECIALLY if they, and you, are Republican and tell them you want it removed from the budget reconciliation!
BOYCOTT UTAH UNTIL IT IS PULLED!
