  1. They came in by boats, now they’re leaving by boats. Cypriots protect your beautiful country and heritage.

What’s up with the people in this sub? Are Cypriots really that hostile to Israelis in real life, or is it just the usual Reddit or bot farm vibe? Is there any actual local person here who can confirm that?

Also, if that’s matter to anybody, those yachts are coming to Cyprus to pick up Israelis who want to come back home. Since the airspace has been closed for almost a week, this is pretty much the only way to return at this point.

It’s funny to see such an anti-Israeli vibe here, when Cyprus has effectively been sold out to Russians for the past couple of decades.

  4. Ffs. Brace yourselves guys, we gonna have to deal with a lot of these rude cunts now

  5. Can confirm Nissi Beach is full of them. The sun beds were promised to them 500000 years ago

And if you say anything about those fuckers they instantly label you as „antisemitic“.

Don’t come just yet! Agia Napa Marina still only has one tower built, not the two on adverts. And Paralimni marina isn’t built yet! Were they going to park their boats?

Theyre the shittiest neighbors you could ever have. Good luck dealing with them.

I think you guys are missing the point here. Among those people coming here, there will be people who actually support the annihilation of the Palestinian people.

Yesterday, actually a guy told me he is Isr and when I asked if he supports the genocide he said „yes of course“ and „not a lot of people have died“.

This is not a character flaw, we are talking about people who want other people to die and feel proud that they enable this genocide to happen

and I believe it is not that hard to take this sense of superiority (to say the least) and shift it towards us.

The longer the escalation, the worst it will get.

  11. Mother in law of my brother made the cross today. His wife is about to give birth to her first child. No other options…

You got it the other way around… Hundreds of people are renting yachts to get back to their kids and family in Israel.

Other Israelies are going through Egypt (Jordan has their sky closed shut too).

Im Israeli. Earlier this week I returned from Limassol to Israel by yacht, after being stuck abroad on a business trip. There are many Israelis in the same situation, looking to return to their families. Many, like me, have young children at home – the thought of them enduring ballistic missile attacks without me was extremely difficult.
I have nothing but kind words and respect to Cypriots, whom I found to be hospitable, welcoming, friendly and pleasant. I also met a ton of empathy towards my situation, and sincere concern and goodwill to help.
It’s a shame that Cyprus needs to deal with so many “bad” Israelis- both tourists and some of those living there. Israel is very much a bi-polar country; while some (mostly right-wing, lower socioeconomic background) are extremely rude and ignorant, a good chunk are liberal, educated, well traveled and polite. These also tend to be more critical towards the current right wing government and the war in Gaza.
Thanks Cyprus for the hospitality and all of the help ❤️ Please know that not all of us are the shitty tourists you sometimes need to deal with. I think there is a lot in common between our two peoples and I’m hoping for even more collaboration in the future. Also planning to come back in better circumstances to travel and spend time in Cyprus after the positive “refugee” experience I just had there.
    Love from Israel 🇮🇱❤️🇨🇾
