Considering the G7 is supposed to be about promoting free trade, cooperation and multilateralism why even invite the US? The G7’s goals are entirely the opposite of the US goals.
Dump the US and be the G6 – in a few years the American economy will be a shadow of its former self with no one to blame but themselves.
And the G7 ridiculed him and he left in a huff. US will come crawling back, when they realize they are out of the party and everyone has moved on without them.
