More?! LAPD did a great job brutalizing protesters all on their own. Things have only gotten calmer since the protests started. The only violence this past weekend was committed by the LAPD.

So if my count is correct, Trump will have 6100 National Guard and 700 Marines deployed in Los Angeles.
After Trump lost the election in 2020, he removed all but 2,500 troops in all of Afghanistan. Trump has more than two and half times as many troops deployed because of a couple of burning Waymos in LA than he left Biden to manage a withdrawal from a 20 year war.
He was just told by the Supreme Court to return the control over the reserve back to Gavin Newsom. He’s trying to start a civil war and pitting everyone against the wealthiest blue states while simultaneously allowing a race war by siccing ICE ON the poorest red states.

So, there are 6700 troops in LA right now?! There is no good justification for even one soldier policing right now.
They are trying to acclimate the US to being subject to military rule. I have little doubt those troops will be a permanent fixture there if the courts do not stop pussyfooting. By the time they declare martial law, it will be like nothing changed.
And don’t let it be forgotten that this was said by the DHS Secretary, and she has been neither fired nor condemned for it:
