    1. sometimes i wonder if they roll them out at night for light show and morale boost.

Has there been a single video of that flak hitting anything? Anything except a battery powered observation drone would light up in the night sky right?

Real talk. Would this even be mildly effective? I can see a blanket of flak essentially blocking off a section of the sky, but planes and drones can fire missiles away from those clouds of AA fire.

    4. I’ll eat my hat if any of that is radar coordinated or even shooting at anything..

Makes an interesting show, but obviously not very effective against whatever Israel is using.

Just slap a gen 1 NVG filter and you’ll be transported back to January 1991 in Baghdad.

    7. Has Israel also started firing rockets from afar? I meant they only use fighter jets.

I thought it was working amazingly and then someone said flak and now I think it’s not working so great.

    10. I have no idea about these topics, so I’m going to ask. Considering the war in Ukraine, Russia couldn’t achieve air superiority, and considering Iran’s participation, they should be aware. I’m curious why they haven’t armed soldiers with Man Pads. Or wouldn’t they be as effective in these cases? Or is it a weapon that is difficult for Iran to obtain?

    11. Israeli pilots probably having a laugh looking down at the fireworks. The f35s are flying 5 times the hight the flak are going. It’s as if the Israelis don’t even want to bother taking out AA guns. Seems like they would be easy to hit.
