Why are people surprised that anti-semites like Tucker and MTG are against any effort that supports Israel.

Don’t be surprised. There is essentially no opposition party to the republicans at this point.
They control pretty much every level of government in the majority of states and at the federal level. Dems are a true failed party at the national level.
As a result, republicans don’t have any unifying enemy that’s worthwhile battling and are faction-ating over major issues. Which makes sense, this is a major issue.
A lot of people held their nose and voted for Trump this time around because of a single issue they wanted. Issues like entering another middle eastern war or arresting citizens is enough to separate different MAGA camps.

To the people confused about this one: **it’s about Russia**. That’s why Marjorie Traitor Green and Sucker Carlson are both giving Fox a hard time momentarily. Iran is a massive ally to Russia, even though a lot of the drone manufacture has been moved to Russia. Russia also has a geographical interest in Iran because they move their oil products through the Caspian Sea, then through Iran to the ocean to get it to India.

Edit: I figured it out. Iran is under the Russian sphere of influence, so politicians who are under the sway of Russian kompromat or financial support will break with the admin and denounce any American attack on Iran for that reason.
