      I don’t think you will annoy Brits by blaming them for the Cyprus problem. Would be very surprised if anyone on here gets angry about the piece you’ve written!

      We know that Britain colonised a lot of places and most people didn’t like it, especially the countries who are unhappy with the way their countries look today. Is it ‘all’ the fault of Britain? Probably not, I think your argument is reductive but will this piece annoy British people? I think you’ve failed if that’s genuinely what you’ve tried to do.
