It’s worth it alone on Canada even if to simply take back our trade from America .
Billions of dollars of Chinese products are sold by American corporations to Canadians in Canada after they imported their product from American warehouse and distributors in America who imported it from China . All will America has actively influenced and discouraged our relationship and trade with China .
The same can be said about exports from Canada that ultimately end up In China or offsetting a product in America that they then export their product to China .
Its funny my father law yesterday popped by . He’s shooting hobbyists, and as we were talking, he brought up the fact that the Canadian supplier he bought ammo from was no longer able to import his favorite ammo brand from the States . So I asked him where that ammo was made , and sure enough, it was a Finnish company.
People are starting to wake up to this finally, the buy Canadian movement is great and big effect but at the same time we need to think deeper about these issues because even if you find it on Canadian shelf and it says made in any other country other then America, dosnt mean America dosnt have its greasy fingers on it .
This is thousands jobs lost for example for our ports , rails, trucking , warehouse , etc .

Create a working relationship with the state that’s already been caught threatening our MPs and creating spy networks in our cities? No thanks. No realpolitik is worth undermining our sovereignty.

I’ll be amazed if our politicians can stop themselves shooting such a relationship in the foot as soon as possible for cheap pandering and virtue signaling to our public, but if anyone can get it done it’s Carney.

Yeah. Might as well hedge our bets as our main trading partner, America continues to go crazy.
2nd. If the Canadian government is okay with India, then it should have no problem with China.
Or does China need to send assassins too to get that VIP invite to the G7.
