Fortunately, with both major parties of actual relevance now supporting this, making this a grand consensus among middle-of-the-road Canadians who actually belong to the Mainstream and aren’t part of the fringes, any opposition can be ignored.
More consultants?
How many consultants and how many times do things need to be studied before they get done?
This is the waste that people hate. An appropriate level of consultation is good, but its never ending, and it needs to stop.
Canadians voted for projects. Big projects.
We didn’t vote for consultations. These rules need to be changed. It’s time.

Sorry but time is of the essence in the current context. Double down on efforts to examine the Bill. The whole point is Canada takes too long to make decisions and the same applies to Indigenous organizations/governments.
All I’m hearing in here is delay, delay, delay.
I recognize the rights of aboriginal peoples in this country but they need to get on board with actually moving through the process of consultation quickly so we can make appropriate accommodations and get shovels in the ground.
Consultation cannot mean infinite delay. We need to do this now. All of our futures depend on it.
