to be fair, iron man was made with unmade scripts as they were shooting the film. only difference is that their was very talented people on that project to back it up.

The DCU was clearly an attempt to follow Marvels success. They really didn’t seem to have a plan, or finished scripts for that matter. The first phase of Marcel worked because it actually developed the characters before forming the avengers.

What’s not fair is the lack of variety and innovation in movies. The last marvel film I saw was just battle after battle. I got bored as hell watching the fighting. Your plots suck!

And nearly every damn sequel is garbage. And nearly every remake is garbage. How many times are you going to make the same frickin’ film?!

Hollywood doesn’t give a shit about new and interesting ideas. They just keep going to back to the past to churn out garbage.

I used to love superhero films and watched nearly all of them. Now I can’t stand them! Get a grip and find your imaginations, cuz you folks seem to be tapped out!

And enough with the serial killers and murder porn! And crime porn! And torture porn! And dystopian “end times are a-comin’”! It’s almost as if you are all trying to make the public more tolerant of the worst violence you can imagine. Like you’re trying to persuade us all that it’s inevitable. And we should cave to the villainaires. We don’t need this utter crap! Republican talking points and vicious attacks on civilians. Fuck this. Seriously.

Until you find better stories about interesting people and cut this endless focus on comic book characters (as someone who loves comics, you’re ruining them—or have ruined already).

We live in a real world. You’re making movies to encourage fantasy, conspiracy, whistling while the fascists take over, because it makes them easier to persuade and trick and con. Your fucking content is the problem, along with the right-wing, pro-violence, zombie, world-is-ending bullshit. No one wants to watch more destruction. Can you anything but negativity and destruction and violence? Cuz it doesn’t look like it.

Marvel does need to do better but Thunderbolts was a step in the right direction and hopefully the Fantastic Four will be good too. Too many cooks in the kitchen as far as writers and changing up too much ends up with lackluster movies like the last captain America movie. It would be nice to have more MCU films have a better focus and not be everywhere all at once. I say that not even liking James Gunn. I found the only DCU materials that were good being the latest Batman movie and The Penguin series.

I don’t get it, like how are there not hundreds of finished scripts looting into their office everyday?

They fumbled BIG time after endgame.

I think they sorta had a solid plan with Kang but after everthing went down with that character actor it all fell apart.
