I understand why Israel wants Iran to remain disarmed. Iran funds several extremists groups that try to destabilize their country like Hamas, Hezbollah, and the Houthis. It sort of like how the India and Pakistan situation unfolds. Pakistan funds a bunch of groups to destabilize India and those groups hide behind Pakistan’s nukes for shelter. The entire Western World constantly bails out Pakistan because they understandably don’t want nuclear armageddon. I suspect that a similar case will happen in Iran and Israel’s rivalry.

On the flip side, I understand why Iran wants nukes. They agreed to a NPT deal with Obama, Trump ripped it up so they don’t trust him. After seeing how Ukraine and Libya’s sovereignty was violated for denuclearizing. I can’t blame them for wanting nukes to protect their sovereignty as a state either.
