I don’t believe a SCOTUS has been this politically biased since right before the US Civil War.
I do hope this isn’t foreshadowing.
Hmm, wonder why. Mitch McConnell blocked a democratic nominee, and then Trump stuffed the court full of his nominees. Nominees, who muss pass a litmus test before being considered for this life-long position where they „impartially“ interpret the law.

Come on. Who wasted their time polling that. It’s the most obvious conclusion ever that they aren’t neutral.
I was raised being told the Supreme Court was the highest law in the land. That the justices were impartial, neutral. Beyond reproach! A job so important that it had a lifetime term.Thirty years later I see justice Thomas’s batshit insane right wing conspiracy theory wife doing all manners of wild stoking the fires for Q non and MAGA behind the scenes puppet master shit and his own laundry list of accepting ridiculous extravagant bribes and I’m over here thinking oh gawd to myself, we’re so cooked.
Next comes justice Roberts, the brown nose Trump sycophant and the hearings for the next justices, and Brett Kavanaugh, and Kavanaugh getting confirmed with a 50-48 vote in the senate. I knew then that we were beyond cooked and moved into the horrendously fucked area.
The saga continued as we all know and here we are.
The U.S. Supreme Court recently issued a ruling that limits the EPA’s authority to regulate wastewater discharges, potentially allowing for increased levels of sewage and other pollutants in some waterways.
Guess we’re shit out of luck too.
That’s because the SCOTUS judges are partisan hacks.

I challenge anyone to point to a single major piece of Republican legislation in the past decade that was cut-and-dry designed to make *anything* better for the average American.

The Chief Justice just decided on a whim that he didn’t need to be part of Trump’s post insurrection impeachment trial
A non partisan supreme court would rule only through unanimous decisions. 4-5 decisions are a symptom of a dysfunctional court.
