Will we see a „how it’s made“ video from two Pakistani guys in flip flops farming Bitcoin in a run down factory building with rats running around now?

    4. And the only advice is: buy as much Bitcoin as fast as you can. You’re welcome!

Pakistan: „we offer you 10 million a year salary to advise us on buying BTC“

      Saylor: „buy bitcoin“

Pakistan: „thank you thank you! here is your fee.“

Having an advisor who has a directive interest in the coin itself isn’t a good thing nor trustworthy thing really

    7. „DCA bitcoin“ thanks for coming to my talk guys, that will be $20 million please.

Actually ridiculous. Yeah, hire someone who holds the very thing he’s going to advise you on. Totally not a conflict of interest or anything.

    9. Whilst Pakistan’s crypto council have acknowledged holding discussions with Saylor about their strategy, they have denied that he has been appointed in any official capacity.

„just buy more bitcoin bro“ wow how much did they have to pay him to tell them that?

Pakistani here. No, this is not true. Although Pakistan is making strides with crypto adoption and Saylor has commented on its potential success but he’s not been appointed anything.

For his appointment in Government, he’d have to get a Pakistani nationality first.

    13. While the headline grabs attention, let’s temper expectations. Pakistan’s economic situation is complex, and Bitcoin adoption hinges on much more than celebrity advice. Saylor’s expertise lies in corporate Bitcoin strategy, but successful integration requires robust regulatory frameworks, financial literacy initiatives, and addressing the inherent volatility risks. Simply advising „buy Bitcoin“ ignores crucial infrastructure and educational needs. The true test will be whether this appointment translates into tangible, sustainable Bitcoin adoption within Pakistan’s unique economic context. We need to look for concrete policy changes and public education programs, not just soundbites.

To what extent is an “advisor” truly needed when all he can tell them to do is “buy” ?

I mean, he can offer 1001 reasons to buy. He can frame it nicely for them. But in the end, his only advice can be to “buy”.

They might as well just run an instance of Sora trained on Michael Saylor videos if they want that special Michael Saylor “feeling” to go along with their actual buying.

    15. Why? The only thing he’s going to say is buy bitcoin. I could do that job. Hmm. Are any other countries hiring bitcoin advisors?
