I mean, the no kings protests were fucking everywhere. Even my small red city had one that dwarfed all the photos I’ve seen of trumps birthday parade lmao
Looks like a better turnout than the parade in DC.
I was expecting the article to be about Casper and only Casper. But instead we got an inspiring story about two people in a very remote area who did this in hostile territory and even got others to join them. Even if this doesn’t flip the state entirely, you never know, maybe they’ll flip a few seats at state level and cut into a veto-proof majority.
Way to show up to the party 7 months late. I’ll hold my applause until they withhold their Trump votes on the 4th try.
This reminds me of the BLM protests after George Floyd was killed. One of my guilty pleasures during the beginning of the pandemic was watching live cams from random places. Seeing normally busy places (like Bourbon Street in NOLA) all sleepy. But I remember one time it sent me to some tiny little old town in South Carolina I had never heard of, and there were about fifty people in the street with BLM protest signs. It was so amazing seeing people turn out for a positive social/political movement in these quiet, super red towns.
One of the best parts of yesterday was that these protests were literally everywhere, with minimal (though nonzero) hateful incidents from the other side.
Also, Wyoming is a beautiful, cheap state and it doesn’t take that many people to move there to flip two Senate seats…just saying.

Conservatives: you need to vote yourselves out. You know your leaders can’t be trusted to run this country! Stick to your ideals, that’s fine, but you all should acknowlege that your leaders are corrupt and stupid as hell.
I live in Wyoming. Many conservatives here resemble conservatives of old. Basically, small government and limited involvement. We currently have conflict between regular conservatives and the Freedom Caucus.
One thing a huge portion of residents currently are against is the proposed sale of public lands. Also the state is sick of wealthy people buying land for three weeks of cowboy cosplay.
No doubt this is a deep red state, but I’d say it’s a much different red than say, some of the southern states. People here a concerned with energy policy, not social issues.
Dear GOP and other parties in the executive, congressional, and judicial administrations; You are working so hard to divide us with illogical and cruel tactics that are completely un-American. You’re only making us stronger and more united. Have you forgot that we are the leaders of this nation. You will not win this war you are creating around us. We decide our future. We decide your future. We are the United States of America.

„No Kings“ is not contradictory to Harris being chosen for the candidate without a primary. It’s everywhere in statements, memes, complaints, etc where they are whining about „No King“ protests and are drawing a comparison to Harris being added to the Democratic ticket without there being a primary.
There is no law that states that a presidential candidate must be chosen through a primary election. There aren’t even laws on how primaries are to be held, and each state can do them differently. The Party chooses the candidate, it’s just that most of the time they are chosen through primary elections. But they don’t have to be.
So stop your whinging and complaining about how it’s hypocritical to say „No King“ yet did not have a primary for Harris. You’re wrong, and are simply grasping for ways to flex your whatsboutism and lack of actual knowledge.
You know its bad if Longmire is marching in solidarity
