I’m so proud of these communities rising up against fascism.

This is not about leadership, it’s about the rise of fascism, it’s about the destruction of democracy, it’s a large scale power grab and anybody who opposes it faces persecution, prosecution and intimidation. We are watching our country fall into authoritarian rule and still millions of Americans are cheering for it.
I wish I went, to the one near me, however a close co-worker of mine died tragically (he was 24), and his family was doing a reception thing on that date (today), scheduled before the event. (It was actually don’t he street from it) he was cremated so this wasn’t a funeral service but to each family their own.
I went to that instead, respectfully.
Good. Now do it again tomorrow, and the next day, and the next, nonstop until they capitulate. If this fizzles out too, then fascism has won and the people are simply too beaten down to do what truly needs done to properly resist.

I was there! It took the people marching in the back 35 minutes to be at the same position as the people in the front.

The crowd extended about 3 blocks away in every direction.

It was amazing to be there. There were so many people we didn’t realize we were walking down the wrong street at first until we saw the official procession a street over. Supportive horn honking from cars even when we were blocking their way. Proud of Chicago 🇺🇸✊

Liberty, much like my patriotism, still has a flicker of hope.
I marched today but found myself sad that people had to mask to protect their identities because our administration is cosplaying as Nazi Germany. I will not ever stop standing up for our goddamn rights and Chicago sure as fuck is not going to tolerate what this administration is doing.
My ruby red city, Fort Wayne, Indiana, was packed!! I’ve never seen that many people out protesting here before. It shocked me but filled me with lots of joy. I’m a teacher and I ran into a number of my students there as well which filled my heart.

Red state here, enjoying my fathers day weekend at our lakehouse. Im sure these protests will be as effective as all the ones have been before… *yawn*… oh well back to fishing.
Notice far fewer amount of flags of the traitors and slavers. Then at Trump rallies. Almost all American flags.

People are showing out en masse. I believe sadly Trump will go so far that we will soon see numbers in the streets like we have never before, in every city and even rural areas.
My little red rural farm town (8,000 pop) in central WI had about 400 at the No Kings Rally. It was exciting!

I wonder how many of these people voted. I love a good protest but I wish people would be more passionate about voting.
How come we are seeing nothing on Reddit whatsoever of these crowds? Videos?
