People will eat up this clickbait. The veteran was very briefly detained and said himself he was treated fairly. He was on federal property which is the only places marines can detain, and only long enough for police to take over.

Dude he walked onto federal property that the marines were ordered to guard, didn’t respond to them when they were yelling at him to stop (most definitely because of the earbuds), was only temporarily detained until police came, and was later released with no penalties.

They have been put in an impossible position. I’m a vet. These deployment orders would make me sick yet breaking ranks would not be an options. This does not leave them without a conscience.
