Well Greece wrote down their history,what they did and everything else.They also were more numerous and benefitted from the other civilizations in Greece before them (minoans).They were also more powerful than the illyrians in the majority of cases,not by much,because the illyrians would conquer their land at times,so it means that they were mot backwards.
Unfortunately a lot of civilizations dis not write down their history,or they wroge in a language we have difficulty understanding (etruscan,rhaetian,samnites)
Also albanians should be proud of the ancient greeks‘ archievements since a lot of ancient cities in Albania were/became centres of the greek civilization which got assimilated in the ethnic group of the albanians

I don’t understand why Albania needs to constantly compare itself to Greece but ok. Each country has its own thing. Vikings and Norse culture is far more popular than Greece these days with people being more familiar with Thor than let’s say Dionysus. You don’t see Greeks rushing to organise a media response as if it’s Marvel vs DC Comics.
