Trump is, by far, the most corrupt and criminal president in US history. He cares nothing of the Constitution, or our rights. All he cares about is his own power.

He’s rotten to the core and needs to be impeached and removed.

    2. I really think we should all make accounts on Truth Social tomorrow and share memes that don’t break their TOS and upvote everyone else’s. Especially as replies to Trump’s posts that he’ll be putting up there tomorrow.

    3. Honest question: if millions do get out and protest, what’s the next step? Trump will never step down. No republican will turn on him. He’ll just say whatever makes himself feel better and his cult will believe him.

Is this just an attempt at trying to prove to him how hated he is?

He doesn’t care. He lacks the ability to realize any reality. He’s that messed up.

Is it just all out civil war then? He unleashes more military against the people of his own country?

I need some help with an argument. My dad believes that No Kings protest is stupid and all the claims that trump is a king, I need help coming up with a proper defense cause I’m not good at being put on the spot with debates

As a foreigner, I’m amazed by how helpless the opposition to MAGA claim to be.

The Viet Cong had no industrial base. It was peasant economy, barely out of the medieval era in its development, and yet they managed to use their ingenuity and bravery to beat back a much stronger adversary.

You should be using all your creativity to find the most ingenious methods. Don’t be gaslighted into thinking it is only Trump who is your enemy. He derives his power from millions of snarling, evil people. Out of inferiority complex, these people want to kill you. They barely keep it secret. They’re even worse than Trump. That’s your enemy and you need to go after them, until they learn that their lives are going to be made worse. What gives a venomous snake pause when it goes looking for its prey? Only the fear of an animal that can fight back.

Edit: Yes, I know they got much of their equipment from the USSR and Chinese. They also made lethal booby traps out of bamboo; they bicycled their supplies in when the U.S. bombs had destroyed the roads. There are ample examples of them doing what I said.

Genuinely curious, what are the chances it will get bad tomorrow? I’m hoping for massive protests that end without protestor or police-incited violence, but with the NG and military being deployed in LA who knows how heated things will get?

This protest has gained a lot of traction in the past week. I was worried it was a bit of a social media bubble thing, and the last nationwide protest didn’t get a lot of attention even though it was quite big.

But with the current protests and the GOP response to them, the newspaper ad, and several dem politicians subtly or openly endorsing it, I think it’s become something else entirely. The right is also talking about their plans to crack down on these protests, which is scary, but also sort of legitimizes it as a major movement and gives it even more media coverage. It’s definitely going to lead to something, I’m just not sure what. Be safe everyone.

A history of repeat injuries and ursupations, all having in direct object the establishment of an absolute tyranny over these states. To prove this, let the facts be submitted to a candid world.

He has refused his assent to laws, the most wholesome and necessary for the public good.
He has endeavored to prevent the population of these states; for that purpose obstructing the laws for the naturalization of foreigners; refusing to pass-through to encourage their migrations hither.
He has obstructed the administration of justice, by refusing his assent to laws for establishing judiciary powers.
He has erected a multitude of new offices, and sent hither swarms of officers to harass out people, and eat out their substance.
He has kept among us, in times of peace, standing armies without the consent of out legislatures.
He has affected to render our military independent of, and superior to the civil power.
He has combined with others to subject us to a jurisdiction foreign to our constitution, and unacknowledged by our laws; giving his assent to their acts of pretended legislation:
For cutting off our trade with all parts of the world:
For depriving us in many cases, of the benefits of trial by jury:
For transporting us beyond seas to be tried for pretend offences:

If you’re in Florida, stand next to an oak tree. De Satan has been stirring the pot by telling MAGA they can run you over.

I expect to see trump walk out to his parade decked out in military uniform, chest full of gold medals. By God, he’ll have his King George moment. Just a little differently lol. Then we can throw him in the asylum.

I suspect it’s more likely than not with the sheer number of protests tomorrow something will def pop off.

    12. Asked about the No Kings protests during a White House event on Thursday, Trump said: “I don’t feel like a king. I have to go through hell to get things approved.”

The dude just said abiding by the Constitution is hell.

    13. Helpful-Albatross696 on

We need more than protests, not violence but shaming of the kind that makes people go into hiding. Dox the hell out of his supporters and companies that help him. Expose all his money so Trump can’t hide

Americans finally waking up to the reality that they now have a King! Took you long enough!!

    15. ChefChopNSlice on

We made a *Declaration* that we would not be under a king’s rule, and we’re not going back on that promise.

    16. Republicans : „double the voting flips! We’re gonna need to 5x the flips!“

    17. I’m on vacation in Mexico and there’s one happening in Oaxaca! (organized by Americans living here).

I dunno if that’s ironic or not? Either way glad I can take part.

    18. Good luck to everyone at No Kings, wishing you all the best! 🇬🇧🇺🇸

Pointless waste of your time, go and enjoy the finer things life has to offer.

PLEASE keep an eye out for agitators trying to discredit the protests. I personally witnessed a rightwing shithead spray painting and slinging rocks during the 2020 BLM protests. We know they’re gonna do it. Be ready.

This is Americas only real chance to keep freedoms, because as it stands – You will comply, you will obey, you will give up your constitutional rights! Maga that means your right to bare arms gone. Project 2025.

I feel like this weekend is going to very consequential. Turnout to the main protests will be strong. I don’t doubt that there will be some “non peaceful” demonstrations that the regime will use to create the narrative of the “lawless radical left” in the Fox News cinematic universe. But, we all knew that anyway. Trump’s cult can’t be converted or convinced.

I think whatever happens the uncomfortable atmosphere of being on the edge of civil conflict will be inescapable this summer. It’s tragic and I’m not looking forward to it, but I’m not looking forward to living under the dictatorship of a reality tv star, room temperature IQ convicted felon thug either. I think the need to feel like people are doing *something* will drive more people to protest as Trump gets more brazen. It is for me, at least.

*possessed by the ghost of a speak and spell*

The constraints and strictures of the old world are burning away like wrappings around a feted corpse. The old world *is dying.* We have through our inaction, both our own and the immense weight of inaction inherited from our forbearers, placed the world itself upon the pyre, for we know not what to do with the dead but commit it to the blaze. The new world will be born from this parting conflagration. Take heed. Take heart. Set fixedly in your eye the world you want to see. Keep your powder dry, and your boots in good order. Appreciate what you have, for none will be guaranteed. Beware, the rules of the old world loathsome though they may have been in their failings, restrained the excesses of power all the same. Those chains have rusted away. *Now is the time of monsters.* Beware the Leviathan, and lash not against it if your heart is not set to carry forward unto hell if you must. To do otherwise is folly, and meek submission be better than to dash oneself upon the rocks for half measures. America, histories progeny, liberties sage defender, how far will you go to keep the torch aloft? Time alone will tell.
