Ein Freund von mir kam zu mir, um Rat zu einem WG -Angebot zu erhalten. Zuerst dachte ich, es sei legitim, da das Konto bei der App überprüft wurde, aber nachdem ich die Details gelesen hatte, fühlt sich für mich etwas ab. Alle Tipps waren sehr geschätzt, da ich auch beitreten könnte, wenn es legitim sein würde. Jeder Rat ist willkommen

so everything is basically automated and you don’t see the owner. you can visit the place, you can book it online and he wants money in advance before you even receive a contract. and he even calls this „no scams“.

Just as a rule of thumb: If the ad is only addressing foreingers, it’s a scam.
Best case it’s a real shitty landlord looking for a tenant not aware of their rights and/or no resources to fight for them. But usually it’s a scam.
