He’s been at basically the same popularity as he’s won 3 straight majorities, so I doubt this will change anything. There’s just a lot of people in the province who don’t particularly like Ford, but like his opponents even less.
And why would Ford ever worry? The NDP seems happy keeping their 25 seats and not expanding beyond that, and the Liberals are descending into infighting. Some want to make Nate OLP leader, but all he would accomplish is taking votes from the NDP while leaving the centre wide open for Ford.
Really, because Abacus had a [poll](https://abacusdata.ca/abacus-data-ontario-poll-ford-government-approval-hits-new-high-pcs-lead-by-21/) out a few days ago that tells a different story.
Wilfully using code words to hide your illegal Greenbelt dealings, to enrich your friends, and yourself should do that! Corruption and coverups should not be condoned by anyone!
Aside from his stint as Captain Canada to start the year, 38% is still among the highest approval Angus Reid has registered for Ford in almost 3 years. Couple that with the [Abacus poll](https://abacusdata.ca/abacus-data-ontario-poll-ford-government-approval-hits-new-high-pcs-lead-by-21/) from a couple days ago that shows him polling among the highest he ever has and I don’t think Doug is feeling too down at all.
